ARW Home offers six plans, allowing you to customize your coverage to fit your needs.

Optional Add-Ons

ARW Home offers add-on coverage for a number of systems and appliances, including:

• Ultimate Electronics Protection (laptops, tablets, TVs, game consoles, desktops, printers, and other electronic devices)

• Deluxe Advantage Package (AC refrigerant and coils, plumbing faucets and fixtures, garage door springs and tracks, improper installation, mismatched systems, and toilets.)

• Pools and spas

• Well pumps

• Food spoilage

• Additional refrigerators

• Additional cooktops and ovens 

• Ceiling fans

• Water heaters

• Washers and dryers

• Ice makers 

• Plumbing systems

• Built-in microwaves

• External water or sewer lines

Plan Exclusions

ARW Home doesn’t cover items that are damaged due to misuse or abuse. For example, if your microwave breaks because you place something in there that shouldn’t go in there, ARW Home won’t cover the damage. 

ARW Home also only offers coverage for single-family residential homes. If the home is used for commercial purposes (i.e., if it’s a daycare or church), then ARW Home won’t cover you. 

ARW Home Plan Pricing

The price of your ARW home warranty coverage depends on the plan you choose and if you select any add-ons. ARW Home’s prices are a little high compared to industry standards, but they can be worth it since its coverage is extensive. Here are the base prices for each plan.

In addition to monthly premiums, service fees range from $55-$75 per visit, which is very affordable compared to other plans.

How to file a claim with ARW Home

One of the downsides to ARW Home is that claims can’t be filed online. To file a claim, you’ll need to call the specific number dedicated to your plan or state. 

• (877) 637-7890: Claim line for all states except California, Iowa, Texas, and Virginia

• (800) 863-8600: Claim number for the above-excluded states 

• (844) 885-8621: Number for Ultimate Electronics Protection

Once you call the number, you’ll be assigned a service provider and ARW Home will give you their contact info. You can then call the service provider to schedule your diagnostic and repair service. 

ARW Home responds to claims within 36 hours, and it’ll try to get a technician to your home within 48 hours. If the repair is deemed an emergency, it’ll try to shorten the response and repair time to 24 hours. 

While ARW Home doesn’t stipulate the number of claims you can file, it has a payout cap of $2,500 per item per year.

What’s Unique About ARW Home?

ARW Home is unique in that it lets you choose your own contractor or technician for repairs if you don’t want to use an ARW-registered contractor. Before completing repairs, the contractor just needs to call ARW Home to be authorized. This way, you’ll only be responsible for the service fee. 

ARW Home also guarantees 30 days on labor and 60 days on parts. If the repair fails within this period, the company will send a technician over to fix it, free of charge.

In addition to 24/7 claims support, ARW Home also offers customer support via phone. Customer service can be reached  at (800) 910-8538 Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm EST, Friday 8:30 am to 4 pm EST, and Saturday 9 am to 6 pm EST. 

For billing inquiries, call (877) 752-6796, Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm EST, Friday 8:30 am to 4 pm EST, or Saturday 9 am to 6 pm EST. 

If you don’t get through to billing or customer service, you can expect to hear back within a few hours or by the next day, depending on when you call. ARW Home also has a contact form on its website and a robust FAQs page. 

What about the ARW Home app?

ARW Home does not offer a mobile app. 

How to Get Started with ARW Home

You can sign up for an ARW home warranty plan by filling out a form online. You’ll be asked to provide some basic details, including your name, email address, phone number, and zip code. You’ll then be given a list of quotes, and you can select the plan that best suits your needs. 

When signing up for a plan, you’ll need to provide information about the appliances you want covered, such as the make, model, and age of the appliance. If you have any difficulties signing up for a plan online, you can contact a customer service representative to help you through the process. 

To cancel your plan, you’ll need to send a written notice to the company’s headquarters. You’ll get a full refund if you cancel within 30 days, and otherwise you’ll receive a prorated refund equal to the remaining length of coverage.
